Ownership
Longevity Record is commercially connected to Vitality Supplements, a company that sells food supplements. Some interventions covered here are products our owner sells. That is a real conflict of interest and we disclose it on every page rather than in the small print.
How evidence is insulated from it
Evidence grades are produced by a published rubric from recorded study facts. Commercial availability is not one of the inputs — there is no field for it, and there is nowhere for it to enter the calculation.
Where an editor overrides the rubric, the override and its rationale are published. A pattern of overrides that favoured our owner’s products would be visible to any reader.
Commercial placements
Where a commercial option exists, it appears in a clearly labelled box, separated from the evidence, never inside a scientific conclusion, and never on a page whose content does not support it. Such links carry rel="sponsored" and outbound clicks are counted.
Commercial placements are disabled by default in this deployment and are enabled only deliberately.
Future revenue
We may in future take newsletter sponsorship, list testing providers or clinics, or offer premium features. Any of these will be labelled where it appears. Sponsored content will never be presented as independent editorial.
Newsletter consent is separated: you can receive our research digest without consenting to any marketing from Vitality Supplements. The two are distinct checkboxes and always will be.
